Barrington Rebuilds with Omneon Spectrum Media-Server Systems
By: Sports Video Group | Published: May 26, 2009

Barrington Broadcasting Group is standardizing master-control rebuilds across select stations over the next seven years with Omneon Spectrum media-server systems.

Spectrum servers have been installed at Barrington’s NBC affiliate WNWO-TV in Toledo, OH, and at NBC affiliate and satellite stations WPBN/WTOM TV 7&4 in Traverse City, MI.

At each station, the media server operates in conjunction with Sundance Digital automation and Pathfire digital-media-distribution and management systems.
