Stanley Cup Runneth Over for TSN

TSN’s coverage of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs through 36 games was up 35% in average viewers compared with last season—651,000 versus 482,000—representing a record for the Canadian sports network.

The network also says adults 25-54 are up 33%, 18-34 up 32%, and 18-49 up 29%.

TSN’s top five games thus far this postseason are:
Round three, game one, Carolina Hurricanes-Pittsburgh Penguins, 1.159 million
Round one, game six, Calgary Flames-Chicago Blackhawks, 1.108 million
Round two, game six, Washington Capitals-Pittsburgh, 1.046 million
Round three, game two, Carolina-Pittsburgh, 1.044 million
Round two, game seven, Carolina-Boston Bruins, 1.021 million
