Padres Follow Yankees Down Streaming Path

The San Diego Padres will join the New York Yankees on Major League Baseball’s roster of teams allowing in-market fans to watch live streamed games, Mike Reynolds of Multichannel News reported.

Much like the deal between the Yankees and Cablevision Systems, Cox Communications high-speed-Internet customers in the team’s television market will be able to watch live Padres games on their PCs starting with Channel 4’s telecast of the July 16 game versus the Colorado Rockies.
