ESPN announced the first two sites for its College GameDay Built by The Home Depot NCAA football show: Atlanta Sept. 5, where No. 5 Alabama will meet No. 7 Virginia tech in the second-annual Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game; and Columbus, OH, Sept. 12, when host No. 6 Ohio State entertains No. 4 USC.

The network said it will announce each site for the remainder of the college-football season on the Monday before the game.

Chris Fowler will host College GameDay Built by The Home Depot for his 20th season, joined by analysts Lee Corso, who has been affiliated with the show since its first year; Kirk Herbstreit, who joined in 1996; and Desmond Howard, who is entering his fourth year.
