Every match from the 2009 U.S. Open tennis tournament that airs on ESPN2 or Tennis Channel will also be streamed free-of-charge on USOpen.org, with the live streaming sponsored by USTA promotional partners Westin Hotels and Stonyfield Farm.
The U.S. Open Live streaming service will total more than 150 matches and over 300 hours of live tennis action.
IBM designed and developed the interactive media console for U.S. Open Live, which will include picture-in-picture match viewing, user commenting, and live match stats integrated with the live video. All five television courts with announcer commentary will be available to users in HD.
