niagara_2120Viewcast hit the IBC exhibition with a spanking new “streaming media appliance” that company execs say sets a new benchmark in price/performance ratio for those looking to stream Adobe Flash h.264 video in multiple resolutions and bit rates simultaneously. With a price a little under $4,000 the compact 1RU tall but only 7.5-inches wide device can pull in component, composite, or S-video signals and ready them for distribution via Flash.
