League Tech Summit Registration Now Open

For the fourth-annual edition of the League Technology Summit, SVG has upgraded the program with more panels, more sessions, and more exhibitors. Bigger than ever, the fourth edition of the LTS is once again dedicated to helping attendees learn the latest trends, technologies, and techniques in sports broadcasting, production, and distribution. LTS kicks off on December 14 with the Remote Production Engineering Workshop. Join leading remote production professionals, production truck vendors, and equipment manufacturers for a lively afternoon of discussion centered around major product categories. What are today’s remote production professionals looking for in terms of features and capabilities? What is the current product landscape? And how are the products being future proofed to meet future needs? This event will take place from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

9:00-10:00 – Remote Sports Production 2009: Surviving Tough Times

The year of 2009 will be remembered for economic challenges that called for leaner sports productions, more efficient use of equipment, and smaller crews. But viewers tuned in to watch their favorite events in record numbers, showing that in lean times, viewers need sports and deserve a quality production. Leading executives from TV networks and remote production unit vendors will discuss the current state of the sports production industry and where it is headed.

New buildings, however, mean new challenges for broadcasters as there are new camera positions, new parking areas, and new infrastructures. How can broadcasters and venue owners and designers work more closely to prevent costly retrofits and alterations?
