ESPN’s same-day coverage of the World Series of Poker Tuesday, Nov. 10, was far from a raw deal for the network, as it attracted more than 2.1 million viewers, an average of 1.806 million households and a 1.8 household rating.

The coverage from Las Vegas was presented by Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, and 21-year-old Joe Cada of Michigan became the youngest WSOP champion ever.

ESPN’s 31 WSOP telecasts over 15 weeks averaged a 1.0 rating, 1.025 million households, and 1.228 million viewers, flat, up 9%, and up 7%, respectively, compared with 2008.
