MLB Network’s Baseball’s Seasons episode Wednesday night, devoted to the 1969 New York Mets, will include a clip never before seen on television, reports Phil Mushnick of the New York Post.
Tim Hanley, who was a 17-year-old vendor at Shea Stadium during game four of the 1969 World Series, filmed Ron Swoboda’s diving catch in the ninth inning after his work day ended, capturing an angle not caught by NBC, which was covering the game.
