LRS Sports will introduce its new digital video editing solution, Edge, during the American Football Coaches Association Conference in Orlando this January.
LRS Sports has spent much of the past two years conducting more than 140 on-site visits with coaches and video coordinators to determine exactly what they look for in sports video software. Out of this research came Edge.
“Visiting with programs from the East to the West coast for the past two seasons has enabled us to make LRS Sports Edge the easiest and most powerful program to use in the sports video market today,” says Chris Allen, Solutions Consultant with LRS Sports. “Streamlining the workflow needs for the video coordinator and delivering coaches an easy to use software program was our number one focus, and we have accomplished this with Edge.”
Edge’s capture component offers ultimate live capture, live custom tagging and streamlined workflow. Cutups can be done live and shared over a network in the new product.
The system also features data calculation, extensive filtering capabilities, and advanced search features. A sophisticated overlay function, powerful telestration capabilities, and the power to load multiple cutups provides for a user-friendly presentation. In addition, Edge supports multiple formats, including; AVI, MXF, MP4, and WMV.
