This year’s SVG League Technology Summit on Dec. 15 in New York was yet another grand success, attracting a who’s who of sports broadcasting and remote sports production heavyweights. Industry veterans and newcomers were given the chance to meet and mingle – and apparently forge some long-term partnerships as well. CP Communications and Stagetec have officially announced a partnership that blossomed out of discussions during the League Tech Summit.
Stagetec will provide routing and mixing platforms to CP for various remote productions, including Stagetec consoles and NEXUS router systems for CP trailers that will be purpose built for sports broadcasting.
“The synergistic opportunities in partnering with CP Communications are too advantageous to remote broadcasting to pass up,” says Vinnie Macri, VP of broadcast solutions for Stagetec. “We look ahead to this new collaboration to enhance the options for sports and entertainment broadcasters through CP’s administration of highly developed all-digital Stagetec solutions.”
CP Communications trailers will be outfitted with digital 5.1 mixing platforms using the Crescendo and Aurus surfaces coupled with the NEXUS router, which include SDI, HD, and 3GHD Embedders and de-Embedders, Dolby-E, and an infinite number of MADI distribution that only Stagetec delivers.
