Chicago Bulls fans with Comcast SportsNet Chicago (and living within the Bulls’ TV market) will be able to watch live streaming of games at CSNChicago.com for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.

“After several weeks of testing, Comcast SportsNet is pleased to give our viewers the option to watch our Bulls coverage with online portability in addition to our traditional television coverage,” says James J. Corno, President of Comcast SportsNet Chicago. “Streaming our Bulls coverage gives our viewers more convenience than ever before.”

Comcast SportsNet is debuting Bulls streaming with support from RayV, a live-sports streaming company whose clients include the NBA and Fox Soccer Channel, in consultation with NBA Digital.  Comcast Sports Group’s video technology partners also include thePlatform and Platformic.

To be eligible, viewers must receive Comcast SportsNet Chicago from a TV provider that has agreed to participate in the network’s authentication process.  To view Bulls games on CSNChicago.com, consumers will log onto CSNChicago.com and register their name, e-mail address and the name of their cable provider and then create a user name and password to begin viewing the game telecasts.  More information can be found at CSNChicago.com.

“This represents the next logical step forward in the inevitable convergence of TV and the Internet,” adds Steve Schanwald, Chicago Bulls Executive Vice President-Business Operations & Alternate NBA Governor. “We are pleased and honored to be working with Comcast SportsNet Chicago on this venture and to be among the first teams in professional sports to offer this opportunity to its fans.”

In addition to online game coverage in HD, online viewers will have the ability to pause, rewind and fast forward the game and enjoy social media features including Facebook and Twitter applications, as well as a live “chat” forum featuring Comcast SportsNet’s Bulls studio tandem Mark Schanowski and Kendall Gill, along with CSNChicago.com Bulls “Insider” Aggrey Sam.
