At CES 2011, DTS will also highlight its latest innovations on the show floor at booth #20907. Among the DTS products to be demoed at CES:

DTS will demonstrate DTS Neo:X, the next-generation of immersive 3D entertainment for home theater enthusiasts and industry audio professionals. For cinema, music or gaming entertainment, DTS Neo:X provides a semi-spherical sound field using an 11.1 speaker configuration adding height/wide speakers to create a lifelike 3D surround soundscape. DTS licensees will be demonstrating the technology at CES with the first products expected to ship in the second quarter of 2011.
DTS will also demonstrate the industry’s first live digital delivery of full resolution 3D video content and DTS HD surround sound over FiOS TV. This demo leverages fiber optic technology from Verizon to that allows TV viewers to “see and hear 3D like never before” with the integration of DTS HD surround sound.

In addition, DTS recently entered into agreements with Free, Lenovo, Fujitsu and LG to integrate DTS surround sound technologies into their latest IPTV services, network-enabled PCs, HDTVs and smartphone devices. At CES, DTS will offer demonstrations of DTS surround sound in Lenovo and Free’s new digital media players,  DTS surround sound in Fujitsu personal computers,  DTS Premium TV in Skyworth flat panel televisions with DTS post processing, DTS Ultra Mobile in Huawei mobile handsets with DTS Envelo and DTS Boost, and DTS decoders in Select models of LG smartphones.

DTS will integrate DTS surround sound technologies into Free’s forthcoming Digital Media Player products. The Freebox devices will launch in Jan. 2011 into the French market and will include DTS Digital Surround processing.

DTS will provide its audio decoding solutions to LG Electronics. As part of the agreement, DTS’ audio decoding (or DTS Digital Surround) technology will be integrated into certain LG Smartphones and tablets. These new offerings from LG include a DTS decoder with two-channel analog and two-channel PCM output through a mini HDMI output. This enables customers to stream content from their phones to a number of external sources, while experiencing DTS sound.  The first line of LG products to feature DTS technology were launched in Korea in December, with an additional worldwide launch set for 2011.

DTS has also engineered an agreement with Lenovo to integrate DTS technology into Lenovo’s new digital home products. These products are scheduled to launch in China in 2011.

Digital home products with DTS audio decoding technology will allow the consumer to enjoy high definition content encoded with DTS Surround Sound. The integration of DTS technology enables Lenovo digital home products to deliver a more realistic and engaging entertainment experience.
