CABSAT 2011: GlobeCast, NETIA Focus on Mutliplatform Delivery

GlobeCast and NETIA will be co-exhibiting at CABSAT at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Feb. 8-10 (hall Sheikh Saeed 1, stand S1 A11).

The theme of the booth will be technologies for multiplatform delivery. Together the two companies will introduce technologies that reach the whole broadcast chain from contribution to playout and delivery. Demonstrations of content management systems and Web TV will be among the technologies highlighted at the stand.

Content Management System (CMS)
At CABSAT 2011, GlobeCast and NETIA will highlight the new content management system (CMS) that was first introduced at IBC 2010. The new software suite also allows users to connect all of their partners and vendors within a single production ecosystem, simplifying the sharing and managing of media assets. Users can now manage all of the processes within the production environment from editing through post and distribution with one interface. The new Web-based interface was built on Silverlight technology.

Radio-Assist 8
NETIA will also showcase its Radio-Assist 8 range of digital audio automation software at CABSAT 2011. Equipped with a range of tools for end-to-end multimedia workflows, the newest version of NETIA’s software suite now extends beyond traditional broadcasting, allowing users to prepare publication at the same level as the on-air thanks to new planning tools. NETIA’s Radio-Assist family of digital audio software programs covers each part of the production and broadcast workflow, allowing users to record, edit, or prepare a playlist.

Web TV
GlobeCast already distributes to satellite and cable platforms around the world. Now broadcast clients can distribute their content to a myriad of devices via the Web. Live demonstrations will showcase this process.
