Tekserve is now an Elite partner with Avid, under a new agreement that makes Tekserve the only top-level Avid partner with a local New York retail store and a full complement of on-site support professionals.

For years, Tekserve has been a recognized Avid audio reseller and consultant, specializing in Pro Tools implementations with some of the biggest names in music. Now, Avid video customers in the New York metropolitan area have access to Tekserve’s proven expertise in working with creative professionals to design, integrate and deploy the technology solutions that deliver award-winning and industry-defining entertainment.

“From its work with renowned media enterprises, Tekserve has earned its stripes as one of New York’s go-to resources for audio and video solutions,” said Jim Atkinson, vice president, WW Channel Sales at Avid. “Whether entertainment professionals are already using Avid products or are looking for new, innovative solutions, Tekserve can deliver.”

In addition to the full suite of Avid’s software technologies, Tekserve now resells Avid ISIS, the storage solution that is a real-time shared media network for content creators and the basis for the complex workflow endemic to the digital arts community.

“The Avid partnership expands Tekserve’s existing capabilities and experience in creating solutions for New York’s creative industry,” said Paul Chesek, Tekserve vice president of sales. “With our roots working with Apple products, we have a unique perspective. Now with Avid’s Media Composer, we can put together the right pieces for our video customers.”
