Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia Tips Off Second Season of ‘Sixers City’

Comcast SportsNet launches the second season of Sixers City, hosted by Ron Burke on Monday, February 13 at 11 p.m. Sixers City joins Comcast SportsNet’s comprehensive lineup of Sixers coverage, including live game coverage, Sixers Pregame Live, Sixers Postgame Live, and extensive online coverage on CSNPhilly.com.

The first episode of Sixers City will look at the Sixers’ exciting start to the season, take a behind the scenes tour of game day with Sixers CEO Adam Aron, profile local talent Lavoy Allen, and meet the team’s fan group, the Revolutionaries. Sixers City debuts on Comcast SportsNet on Monday, February 13 at 11 p.m. and will air throughout the week.

Sixers’ game broadcast and pre and postgame ratings on Comcast SportsNet are averaging double-digit increases over last season. The Sixers win over the Los Angeles Lakers averaged a 5.1 HH rating (153,000 HHs), making it the highest-rated Sixers game since March 1, 2005. Year-to- date, Sixers games on Comcast SportsNet are averaging 2.81 household rating, up 77% over last season’s average.  Sixers Postgame Live is averaging a 1.5 HH rating, up 88% over last season’s 0.8 HH rating, while Sixers Pregame Live is averaging a 0.6 HH rating, up 100% over last season.
