The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest from Coney Island, N.Y., will air live on Wednesday at Noon ET on ESPN3, and on delay at 3 p.m. on ESPN (following ESPN’s exclusive live coverage of the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Quarterfinals).
Originally scheduled for a 3 p.m. start, the contest was moved up to a noon start time to accommodate the large crowd expected to attend.
The presentation will include in-depth analysis of the eating competition by motorsports broadcaster Paul Page and Major League Eating’s Richard Shea, with reporting by television host Renee Herlocker. The one-hour show will also include coverage of the Women’s Championship.
This year marks the ninth consecutive year ESPN has televised the event.
