CP Communications Set to Provide Gear, Support in London

CP Communications is partnering with Broadcast RF to provide technical equipment and engineering service to multiple clients in London for the Summer Olympic Games.

“We are proud to be able to work with our partner, Broadcast RF, for the 2012 London Olympics. Their expertise and knowledge is second to none in Europe,” says Kurt Heitmann, SVP of CP Communications.  “CP has an excellent reputation for providing the best equipment and engineering services as does Broadcast RFThe partnership works on many levels.”

According to Heitmann, Broadcast RF will be providing 12 Vislink L1500 wireless transmitters with L2174 receiver kits complete with Camera Control and also two Aerial systems. CP is providing 14 Gigawave  CMT-2  HD wireless systems, seven High Power PL and 15 IFB systems for communications all with fiber optic transport for clients in the UK.

When we found out the Olympics were going to be here in London, we knew we were going to be extraordinarily busy so partnering with another RF company such as CP was a must,” says Chris Brandrick Sales Director of Broadcast RF. “It’s simple really. When two like-minded RF facility companies join forces like CP and Broadcast RF there can only be one outcome for our customers, which is ultimate success.  The opportunity arose for such a partnership and we knew this was the right way to go by bringing the best in RF from the US and Europe working hand in hand for the London 2012 games. The partnership will extend to facilitate all of the RF for the Ryder Cup when it comes to the USA later this year.”

CP Communications has been providing solutions for audio and video communications for over 27 years. They provide a turn-key solution or a box rental, each can be custom designed based on the needs of the production.
