Zixi Solidifies Partnership with All Mobile Video Digital Media

Zixi LLC, a provider of live broadcast-quality video over public internet and  private IP networks announce a partnership with All Mobile Video to offer enhanced services for customers using Zixi to deliver live productions over IP.

In the past few months, Zixi and All Mobile Video have been delivering UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) fights with closed captioning and slate insertion added by All Mobile video to the Zixi stream as it originates from the event and are proud to now offer this enhanced service. In this a seamless workflow the content gets delivered live to All Mobile Video for processing and is then delivered back to a Zixi cloud Broadcaster Platform where the files are transmuxed and transcoded into a variety of different formats, protocols, and bit rates for delivery to multiple end points.

“Once we established Zixi as our primary platform for delivering UFC pre fight press conferences, weigh ins, and the fights themselves from all over the world over IP to every end point, we needed a way to easily add closed captioning and slates in order to meet broadcast standards. “ stated Christy King VP of Technology R&D for the UFC.

Zixi worked closely with All Mobile Video to enable AMVDMDM to take a the Zixi transport stream, process the stream adding in the needed services, and then delivering the stream to a Zixi Broadcaster in the cloud, in real time.

“Working with Zixi to enhance the stream for the UFC was a process we were able navigate through very quickly,” says Joe Einstein, VP of Operations for AMVDM. “This adds value to live event broadcasts, and at AMVDMDM we are delivering more and more content over IP. Zixi is the premier Broadcast delivery platform over IP and now with these services from AMVDM, we have a service that applies to any live broadcast.”
