CABSAT 2015: IHSE USA To Demo Latest KVM Extenders, Switch Products

IHSE USA, a provider of advanced keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) products for switching and extending professional quality media signals will be at CABSAT 2015, March 10-12 at the Dubai World Trade Center, stand H3.22, to perform live demonstrations of its latest professional series of KVM extenders and switch products for the broadcast and post production markets. CABSAT is the largest digital media and satellite expo supporting the broadcast and postproduction markets in the Middle East region.

This year, IHSE USA will demonstrate the latest features of the Draco line of extender products. In particular, will be the new dual I/O port extender option supporting critical path operations, the matrix grid management for multi-level switching and the latest DisplayPort extenders for 2K/4K resolutions.

“We are aggressively building brand recognition in the MEA regions and have recently expanded our reach with increased support to our MEA subsidiary office located in Dubai.” said Manny Patel, CEO and President of IHSE USA, LLC. “MEA has been recognized as one of the fastest growing media and satellite markets in the world. Leading broadcast and post production facilities around the world rely on our KVM products for superior performance and we believe we can provide similar satisfaction here as well”

Products on display will include our 483 KVM Series for DisplayPort supporting resolutions up to 4K UHDTV. The 483 Series can extend UHDTV signals up to 10km point-to-point or up to 20km when combined with our 4K capable KVM matrix switch products. Other signals such as USB 2.0, Digital Audio, Analog Audio, RS-232 or RS-232 can be added for expanded benefits.

For larger operations, the Draco line of matrix switchers can be configured to support multi-level frame systems with the Matrix Grid option. IHSE’s Matrix Grid is an optional firmware package designed to combine up to 16 Draco tera matrices under the control of one virtual super-matrix system. It includes full status monitoring of all components in the system and can quickly update users with real-time status. Operators can access all connected computers within the Matrix Grid from any connected console in real-time to make switches or re-route connections during disconnects. Since each matrix hosts consoles and computers, the dynamic architecture of Matrix Grid makes it possible to access all sources from each workstation, no matter where they are located.

The IHSE USA 417 series USB 3.0 dual port extenders allow users the ability to extend full speed USB 3.0 up to 100 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber optic cabling.  As a true plug-and-play solution these extenders are compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X operating systems. The 417 USB 3.0 series is housed in a rugged aluminum chassis featuring two locking USB 3.0 ports and a locking power connector.  With throughput up to 5Gbps they are perfectly suited for high resolution USB 3.0 machine vision cameras, post production editing, security camera extenders and remote storage devices.

Now the bestselling Draco enterprise matrix switchers can easily support high speed KVM, USB 3.0 and HD-SDI in the same frame using the UNI-IO option card. The UNI-I/O is an innovative coax/fiber hybrid solution using modular SFP (small form-factor pluggable) technology. The fiber SFP models are based on an LC plug style and the coax SFP models are available in either a transceiver mini-BNC or DIN 1.0/2.3 style. With the UNI-I/O option cards, it’s simple to configure individual I/O ports for specific needs. Unlike traditional coax or fiber cards where each type must be dedicated to all fiber or all coax the UNI-I/O offers ultimate flexibility. Share and mix 3G-SDI coax and fiber connections on the same 8 port UNI-I/O card.
