Campus Insiders, Urban Sports & Entertainment Ink Long-term Content Partnership

Campus Insiders and Urban Sports & Entertainment (USEG) announced a long-term content partnership to produce and distribute live college sports and entertainment events and create unique multicultural-focused video content.

Under the partnership, USEG, the nation’s largest and oldest multicultural sports and entertainment firm, will provide Campus Insiders with the exclusive right to stream certain football, men’s basketball, and Olympic sports from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), the oldest African-American conference in the United States.  The 12-member conference consists of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) spanning the east coast from Pennsylvania to North Carolina.

In addition to live games, Campus Insiders will become the exclusive media partner for the Honda Battle of the Bands, held each January at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Honda Battle of the Bands was created to celebrate, support and recognize the excellence of HBCUs and Black college marching bands in particular.

“We are honored to have Urban Sports and the CIAA join the growing list of firms and conferences that have affiliated with Campus Insiders,” says Brooks Boyer, CEO of Silver Chalice Ventures, the parent company of Campus Insiders. “With our growing distribution base, Campus Insiders is the perfect college platform to not only provide more exposure and visibility of CIAA games, but also to showcase the rich stories and traditions of the Conference and other HBCUs.”

“We are excited about our partnership with Campus Insiders,” says Tom Grabowski, CEO of Urban Sports and Entertainment Group. “Campus Insiders represents best in class in delivering cutting edge digital sports programming. Together, we are now able to provide our partners with top tier platforms to reach our loyal audience.”
