Turner Sports, Senior Director, IT and Remote Operations

As the Sr. Director of Remote Operations and IT, Tom oversees every technical detail of every Turner Sports production, from Atlanta Braves Baseball to the NBA and NASCAR. With a career spanning more than twenty years, starting as a sound technician for touring acts and highlighted by tours of duty with three Olympics as a Sr. Technical Manager and two Goodwill Games as the Director of Technical Operations, Tom has been involved in almost every aspect of live production. A background in audio has enabled Tom to deeply understand the application of sound in a wide variety of performance mediums, from live stage to television. Tom has been an active participant in the development of the HDTV and broadband implementations at Turner and is responsible for every HD sporting event shown on TNT-HD.
