Bill Bell, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Director and Executive Producer

Bill Bell has been a director and executive producer at Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic since 2005. He currently serves as executive producer of remote events and has directed and produced Washington Capitols hockey games for the regional sports network since 1987. He also produced and directed Baltimore Orioles games for Comcast SportsNet from 1987-2006.

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, Ball produced multiple baseball games for the world international feed, including the Gold Medal game.

Bell has won two regional Emmy Awards for producing live Washington Capitols hockey and another two Emmys for Baltimore Orioles baseball.

Ball launched his career in TV sports as a production assistant at KYW-TV in Philadelphia in 1986 following internships at KGTV and KPIX in California. A native of Philadelphia, he graduated from Kutztown University with a BS in Telecommunications.
